Because the Cardinals were so mediocore this season, if they win the Super Bowl it will go down as a FLUKE WIN and Warner will not garner as much credit as if he led the Cardinals to a 12-4 record with big blowout wins over regular season opponents.
That's the reality. Now, if the Cardinals REPEAT in 2010...hello Canton.
idk, if u can call a championship win a "fluke" esp, if they beat a great franchise like the steelers
Post-1975 -- Warner's numbers and achievements aren't spectacular. If Ben Rothlesberger wins the Super Bowl this year can he just coast into the HOF?

A Championship game is no different than any other game. It is played the same way as regular season games and regular season games can be flukes. For example...
The Cleveland Browns beat the shit out of the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants this year. Does that mean Cleveland is some sort of great team? No. It was a fluke and they're extremely lucky that things went their way.
The Cardinals have the worst record of a Super Bowl team in history!!! If they win (which they won't), it will be the biggest fluke in Super Bowl history as well.
i disagree...you win a championship, it isnt a fluke...it's like saying all the teams they beat in the playoffs laid down to the cardinals in which i dont believe...you play to win the game, right?
So, if I walk up to Mike Tyson and knock him out with one punch, does that make me the Heavyweight Champion or a better boxer, just because I won the fight? No, it just means that I got lucky...a fluke.
The Cardinals had 7 regular seasons loses. They barely won 50% of their games and you think that they would truly be a valid champion if they won the Super Bowl? No, I think not.
But, it doesn't matter, because they're not going to beat the Steelers.
i love how your assuming things...like last year's super bowl where everyone thought the giants never had a shot in hell...but we'll see...cardinals all the way...if they do beat the steelers...a GREAT franchise, that wouldnt make them a valid champion? winning 3 playoff games isnt a fluke...and winning the super bowl, dont think that's a fluke either...like i said...it's not like these teams are laying down to the cardinals...so, no...it's not a fluke

Beating a GREAT franchise does not legitamize anything. The 49ers are a GREAT franchise too. Nothing great about beating them.
One game cannot determine who is the better team. That is what is wrong with the NFL playoffs. If the Patriots and Giants played 100 times, New England would win 98 of those games. Fluke. Same can be said for Arizona and whoever they play.
There is a difference between being the best team, and the hottest team.
The Tampa Bay Rays going to the World Series last year was a fluke and nobody can argue that. Shit like this happens and makes the Championship a joke. Tampa Bay vs. Philadelphia...geez, I wonder who was going to win that one.
The Arizona Cardinals, a team with 7 regular season loses, shouldn't be in the Super Bowl. It is a miracle that they are there and it will take a miracle for them to win it.
Oh, and last year's Giants were a GOOD team. They weren't some 9-7, mediocre team that won a crappy division to make the playoffs...like the Cardinals of this year.
